Original 19th and early 20th Century Russian documents exhibition at the UL Main Library. Welcome from Monday through Saturday, April 16 to 27, 8 AM – 8 PM. The University of Lodz Library (BUŁ), ul. Matejki 32-38, 2nd Floor.
The exhibition shows a wide array of Russian official documents, dated from 1869 to 1918, including birth and marriage certificates, all kinds of agreements, school transcripts, and court documents. The exhibition is held courtesy of one of UL academic teachers, Mrs. Ija Blumental. The documents are perfectly preserved, showing the beautiful calligraphy of the day, as well as antique Russian Empire stamps.
